Try to combine a balanced meal of carbohydrates, protein and fats.
Each and every kid lunch box you pack should include healthy servings of grains, fruits and vegetables.
Meats favorites like turkey or chicken breast would be a great choise. Also consider low-fat or fat-free cheese.
Vegetables are must have in a kid lunch box: never pack a sandwich without adding lettuce or slices of cucumber or adding tomato or vegetable juice.

Also with drinks 'milk' don't forget milk.
Easy than vegetable juice to get the kids to drink and just as healthy.
Milk is also the cheapest drink you can buy (finding room in the fridge for all that 'extra' milk, can be a pain).
But with all things too much of a good thing is never a good thing! So you convincing them to drink the vegetable juice would benefit them in the long run and is good for a mixture in everyones diet.
Mostly just don't forget milk is cheap and really good for you...
And don’t forget about healthy treats…. And the problem of overweight kids at school will disappear.
I use to get these small packs for honey roasted peanuts. Sugar, you say? Just a tinny bit.
I think three small marshmallows want spoil you chilled but will make him to drink the whole cup of hot chocolate…
