Australia is setting an excellent example for the rest of the world( Mostly.)

They have signed the Kyoto Protocol, and many other countries continue to drag their feet.
They currently have a plan in place to make gardens on Sydney's city roofs.

For a while, Lexus hybrid eco -taxis are causing an uproar by offering free rides to the public.
They are doing this to protest the banishment of these taxis, which have been found by officials to be "Too short."

Some over-zealous Ministry of Transport officials have actually been found physically restraining members of the public from getting into these taxis.
