You probably don't need a general vitamin-mineral supplement if you are eating a reasonably varied diet most of the time.
If you are fatigued because of a poor diet, only better nutrition can correct this problem.
Don't some people need specific supplements?
Sure. Because of allergies, certain medical conditions, or simply the inability to obtain needed nutrients on a regular basis.
To name 3 most valuable supplements to take for a healthy adult, I would name those:
CO-Q10, Calcium and B-complex

I believe that people should be cautious when deciding to take any kind of supplement. Unless the person is a real expert on the workings of the body and how the chemicals ingested are utilized, chances are he'll do himself more harm than good.
The unqualified person should discuss this with his doctor, whether the professional is a regular, western trained doctor , a holistic practitioner, or a witch doctor. If people are wide open to suggestion, they'll quickly go broke trying to consume all the supplements which are available today. It's an area where we need impartial, expert advice.
